It is my pleasure to welcome you to Eastern Hancock Elementary School. Our school provides a safe, nurturing, academically challenging and caring environment where all children can be successful.

We are a PreK to fifth-grade building housing approximately 500 students and pride ourselves on providing the support that a student might need academically, behaviorally and emotionally.  We have an amazing staff that goes above and beyond to ensure student success. We have a strong special education department that works relentlessly to help level the playing field and allow all kids to feel success. A high ability teacher is on staff to enrich and challenge students. In addition, a relationship with Community Health Network allows students access to mental health care during the school day. Our school is highly sought out by families in neighboring school districts and we are proud to welcome kids from many other communities into our school. Currently 33% of our students are transfer students.

I feel extremely blessed to have been able to call Eastern Hancock my home for over 2 decades. People say all of the time, “there is just something special about Eastern Hancock." It is so true - I hope you feel that way when you enter our building!

Proud to be a Royal!

Welcome back for another wonderful year at Eastern Hancock Elementary School!   I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the students, parents, and staff of EHES and the CSC of Eastern Hancock County.  There are many exciting things happening at EHES that will certainly have a positive impact on student growth and achievement.

My primary objective as the assistant principal is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students so that we may improve academically through the excellent instruction and the numerous activities made available to students.

In addition to my role as Assistant Principal, I also wear the 'hats' of being the district Title 1 Coordinator, Dyslexia Specialist, and Corporation Testing Coordinator.

If you have a concern, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.  Not only are we here to nurture and educate your children, but it is also our role to offer support to our students' parents.  Please feel free to follow us on Twitter/Facebook, view updated information posted on our school website, and visit us at school.  I look forward to meeting many of you during our upcoming EHES events!
Go Royals!
